Vision 600 is a powerful yet cost effective new HMI (human machine interface), designed to complement any SCADA installation, available exclusively in the UK through Products 4 Automation (P4A).
The 600 is a new generation of the Vision HMI range that combines functions and features which add value for users across a range of industrial sectors. Combining robust, rugged and eco-friendly design with versatile applications capabilities, the Vision 600 is intended to add new dimensions to traditional HMI solutions.
The new Vision 600 HMI is a compact industrial panel PC (personal computer) with a flat front panel touch screen. It is available with seven screen sizes, 7”, 8”, 12”, 15”, 17” and 21” inch and being a fanless design is completely quiet in operation.
At its core is an Intel Celeron 1.83GHz Quad Core processor. There is 4Gbyte RAM as standard and comes with a 64 Gbyte Solid State Drive. This can be increased to 128 SSD or 256 SSD if required.
For wide ranging applications flexibility, it has a 9-36V d.c. power input range, while an IP65 rated front panel with optional anti-scratch screen surface means it can be installed in the most demanding working environments.
For communications, the Vision 600 has 4 USB ports, two serial/parallel ports (RS-232, RS422, or RS485), two GbE LAN (local area network) ports, a HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) port and an audio line.
The display resolution of the screen varies from 800 x 480 pixels for the 7 inch unit up to 1024 x 768 pixels for the largest 21” screen. All screen sizes have a a wide angle of view. The number of colours available on screen is 262,000 for the smaller units, ranging up to 16,200,000 for the biggest ones. The backlight has an operating life of up to 50,000 hours.
The chassis and front bezel of the Vision 600 are both aluminium die-castings, so they are strong, light and elegant. Their combined dimensions are 202mm x 149mm x 39mm for the smallest HMIs and 410mm x 310mm x 55mm for the largest.
Vision 600 is designed to run with a number of operating systems, including Windows Embedded Compact 7, Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard 7, Windows 8, Windows Embedded 8 Standard, Windows 8.1, and Windows Embedded 8.1 Industry.
